Weschler -75
I think that one of the more important things to note about the passage was that Weschler has finally come out and admitted he has caught the spore with Wonder cabinets, the MJT, and the questionable and improbable. Will the metaphor continue to pan out? Other than that though, the idea of reality versus fiction really comes out in full force. It has been something that Weschler has been trying to really call to play but had remained as much more of an undertone than a central theme until this section. In doing so, Weschler allows for further thought into the idea, like if it even really matters whether or not something is fake if you believe it to be true. This is most explicitly demonstrated with Wilson and a few other Wilson-like characters who are fanatics of the questionable. Constantly the reader is called to doubt along side the author only to be proven wrong in doubting, and to believe only to be proven misguided.
