First 9 pages response Weschler

I found myself immediately drawn to the opening of Mr. Wilson's Cabinet of Wonder upon the introduction of the large ant capable of emitting a cry that is audible to the human ear. While informative, it was also structured in a story-like manner, which made the facts he presented that much easier to follow and interesting. After the introduction, the story seems to jump around from amnesiacs and spore-inhalation and soloists and it all feels a little disorganized. I found it hard to follow with all the facts being thrown at me and Weschler's excessive use of prepositional phrases. It feels as though he is about to make a point, but never actually gets to one.
