Weschler 59-75
The Museum of Jurassic Technology seems to deal entirely with the concept of human belief, and how it is a mixture of doubt and wonder. Weschler's research reveals that some of the crazier exhibits within the Museum are legitimate, and in so doing his belief was resuspended and the true wonder returned to the museum. His constant questioning of Mr. Wilson makes it seem like Wilson himself is an exhibit, something not quite to be believed, especially when what he says may or may not be entirely true, or at least is slightly off. The whole Museum seems like it is some sort of giant experiment, in my mind, rather than just a collection of wonders. It's an experiment on dealing with preconception, belief and awe.
