Boo 1-25

My initial reaction to this book is that of intense interest, for the main reason that it seems to be written like a fictional story.  I know that in the Author's Notes, the Boo talks about how the stories are real and the names are real, but this seems more like an educated fictional story.  After I thought about it more, however, I like the way that this is written so far.  Boo seems to be telling these stories in a series of vignettes.  While this doesn't necessarily help to create a storyline, in my opinion, it definitely helps to create a sense of the culture of this slum for the reader.  When we look through the eyes of different members of the slum, we can see multiple facets of the slum and therefore understand its culture better.
