New Delhi reading 1

The concern of rape in India actually came up in a recent conversation I had with a coworker of mine who is Tibetan, but spent a great part of her life in India. She was telling me how there is actually a day dedicated to just rape. I was appalled at the very idea that in any society this could be considered alright.

I like the way the writer described the fading of the old city and how it is being taken over by people and buildings and everything else that comes along with a constantly growing and evolving population. I love being in different countries and being able to see that combination of new and old. I hope they can find some way to preserve their history instead of allowing it all to be overgrown by the expanding quantity of people.
