The way Boo introduces characters and develops their stories through incidents that occur in their lives is fascinating. She isn't just describing a new character, but using an encounter to let the reader make his own inferences about the type of person he/she is. The story she introduced about Fatima and the death of her baby Medina really tells us a lot about the unfortunate circumstances their culture has to deal with. Boo doesn't interpret for the reader what he should be thinking, but tells stories in an objective way without skewing them with her own thoughts.
