The part that stuck out to me most about this section was the introduction to how the book got its name. I liked the way that Boo described the way that the slum was separated from the rest of the world by an advertisement. Most people drive by and don't see anything but the concrete wall. But what's important is what actually happens behind the concrete wall and the bright, shiny advertisement for floor tiles. I think this tells us a lot about what an outsider may believe when traveling to a different country. The realness of the city may be masked by bright yellow paint and nobody would take a second look to even notice what happens behind it.
